Adaption/Replications of the Initiative
Replication:
# Develop a comprehensive model supporting education, drop-in center, health care, livelihood development, etc.
# Sign three MoUs with other NGOs for replication on an ad-hoc basis.
# Initiate replication with NGO, INGO, CSO, UN agencies, and Government agencies in/outside Bangladesh.
Sustainability:
Institutional:
# Establish a 10-story building for the children.
# Develop linkages with Daffodil Foundation and Daffodil International University for services.
# Develop staff capacity and networking for support.
Financial:
We haven't sought external funding yet, relying instead on the resources of the Daffodil Family, particularly DIU. Our phased approach focuses on educating male students first, then enrolling female students once our additional facility is complete. While we've considered external sponsorship, our current funding is sufficient. With the Daffodil Family's commitment, we're confident in establishing DISS as an exemplary model.
# Self Finance of the Honorable Chairman & One third of the property
# Daffodil Foundation Zakat Fund
Scalable:
# Currently serving 60 disadvantaged children, can support up to 4000.
# Scale up services around the country and replicate the model in other areas
